Hampshire’s lakes and mountains offer endless opportunities
for recreation and relaxation throughout the year. Gunstock
Ski Area is minutes away, and famed Waterville Valley, Cannon
Mountain and Loon are less than an hour's drive. Area lakes
offer boating, cruises, fishing, swimming and every other
water activity imaginable. Lakes
Region Factory Stores, a major outlet mall, is ten minutes
from the resort and antique shops abound. New
Hampshire International Speedway hosts NASCAR, Indy Car
and motorcycle races and there are many other special events
from dog sled racing and sailing regattas to fishing derbies
and church suppers. Chances are good that you’ll run
out of vacation before you run out of things to do. Like so
many of our guests, you’ll just have to come back to
the Summit Resort again and again.
